Aries Cista: A Compact Boxable Timber Cabin Kit

The Aries Cista is a compact two-level timber cabin kit designed around a distinctive boxable packing system. Factory-prepared structural and architectural components are organized within 3 compact transport boxes, creating an efficient package for shipping, unloading, and on-site assembly.

With its practical main floor, spacious loft, exposed timber character, and large glazed openings, Aries Cista combines a small building footprint with the atmosphere and usable space of a much larger cabin.

Interior Space, Layout, and Dimensions

The Aries Cista provides approximately 37.9 m² / 408 sq ft of total net interior floor area across the main floor and loft.

  • Main Floor: Approximately 22.5 m² / 242 sq ft of net interior space.
  • Loft: Approximately 15.4 m² / 166 sq ft of net interior space.
  • Total Net Interior Area: Approximately 37.9 m² / 408 sq ft.
  • Exterior Structural Frame: Approximately 3.99 × 5.99 m / 13'1" × 19'8".
  • Overall Exterior Height: Approximately 5.11 m / 16'9".

The main floor accommodates the living area, kitchen zone, bathroom, and stair access. The upper loft provides a generous sleeping or flexible-use area while preserving an open and visually spacious interior.

The exterior deck shown in some plans and project images is optional and is not included in the standard Aries Cista kit.

The Boxable Packing System

The boxable concept is one of the defining features of Aries Cista. Rather than shipping the cabin as unrelated bundles of building materials, its components are prepared around a coordinated packing and delivery system.

Structural timber, wall components, roof elements, joinery, interior components, and other model-specific materials are organized for more efficient transportation and easier identification at the construction site.

This compact delivery format can simplify loading, unloading, storage, and material handling while reducing the space normally required to transport a complete timber cabin kit.

Designed for Efficient On-Site Assembly

Aries Cista components are factory cut, prepared, and labeled before shipment. This reduces the amount of measuring, cutting, and sorting required during construction and allows the local team to focus on assembly.

Prepared structural connections, coordinated components, and model-specific drawings support a clear construction sequence from the main structure through the walls, loft, roof, joinery, and interior elements.

Cabin Kit Scope and Available Options

The Aries Cista is supplied as a comprehensive prefabricated timber cabin kit. The standard package is prepared specifically for the model and may include:

  • Exterior cladding and building-envelope materials
  • Aluminum windows and exterior doors
  • Interior doors and model-specific timber finishes
  • Roofing and moisture-control materials

Available options can include insulation packages, glazing upgrades, kitchen cabinets, interior finish materials, gutters, selected bathroom components, and project-specific configuration changes.
