Six Cabins, Two Models, One Hospitality Development

This project combines three Stella 53 A-frame cabins with three Aries 116 cabins for a six-unit hospitality development in Island Park, ID. The cabin kits were shipped in three 40-foot high-cube containers using SolidCabin's U.S. baseline pack.

The owner and a local contractor handled on-site assembly and all local trades. SolidCabin supplied the cabin packages and provided remote assembly guidance, with more active support through key roofing stages on the Aries 116 units.

Supply and site workflow

From Cabin Packages to Local Completion

The six cabin kits traveled in three 40-foot high-cube containers. The shipment used the U.S. baseline pack: the standard cabin package, glass and hardware. Foundations, building services, interiors, decks and the Aries balconies were completed locally.

Foundations, MEP, HVAC, kitchens, bathrooms, furniture, decks, Aries balconies and final finishes were local work.

The A-Frame Side of the Project

The owner already had hands-on assembly experience from the earlier four-cabin Montana project. That experience carried into the three Stella 53 units in Idaho, which were assembled by the owner and local contractor with only limited online guidance from SolidCabin.

Aries 116 Construction, Stage by Stage

The Aries 116 units provide the strongest construction record from this project. These photographs show selected stages across the Idaho builds, from open framing and roof structure through enclosure. SolidCabin provided more active remote guidance on these units: the first through the roof-covering stage and the second through the metal-roof stage.

The completed Aries 116 cabins were photographed during a later SolidCabin site visit. The gallery includes aerial, front, side and rear views. Decks, hot-tub areas and the Aries upper balconies shown in these photographs were local additions rather than parts of the shipped cabin-kit scope.

Living, Kitchen and Loft Spaces

The finished interior photographs are intentionally shown in a portrait-friendly rail rather than being forced into a wide crop. Kitchens, furniture, bathrooms and final interior installation were completed locally; the images document how the cabin shell and glazing were developed into guest accommodation.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

A second portrait-led gallery focuses on the sleeping and bathroom spaces. These rooms were locally fitted and furnished after the cabin-kit assembly, making the distinction between the supplied structural package and the finished hospitality interior visible in the photography.

The completed photographs show a finished hospitality property, but the shipped scope was the cabin-kit baseline package. Separating those scopes matters when using this project as a reference for a new U.S. build.

Owner-led local assembly with different guidance needs by model

The owner had previous hands-on assembly experience from the Montana four-cabin project. That made the Stella 53 assembly relatively independent, with only limited online guidance. The Aries 116 units received more active remote support: the first through the roof-covering stage and the second through the metal-roof stage.
