Can the Foundation Be Customized?
The site foundation is designed locally, so it is inherently project-specific.
Possible systems include slabs, footings, piers, crawl spaces, helical piles, basements and engineered rock anchoring.
SolidCabin can provide available cabin dimensions, loads and foundation-interface information needed for coordination. The local engineer determines the supporting system, reinforcement, anchors and site-specific details.
A prefabricated timber floor option can be added to some models, but it sits above the locally designed foundation and does not replace it.

For U.S. residential projects, the locally adopted code may address building planning, structure, fire safety, energy, mechanical, plumbing and electrical work.
