Permits, Engineering & Drawings

How manufacturing drawings, local engineering, foundations and permit documentation are coordinated.
Understand which drawings are supplied with a SolidCabin kit and how site-specific engineering and permit review are handled.

Permits, Engineering & Drawings

SolidCabin's standard kit includes model-specific architectural drawings, structural-production drawings, assembly documentation, and material references. These documents are prepared for manufacturing and assembly; they are not automatically permit-ready or PE-stamped for a specific U.S. location.

Project Address Review Before Ordering

Customers can send the selected model and project address or ZIP code before ordering. SolidCabin can assemble the available model documents, provide preliminary technical information or total-load assumptions where available, and submit the project to an independent U.S. engineering firm for an initial scope and fee proposal.

Independent U.S. Engineering Firm

The engineering firm sends its proposal, contract, and invoice directly to the customer. Final calculations, professional seals, foundation design, and permit-review responses remain the responsibility of the licensed engineering provider and are specific to the site, local loads, foundation system, and permitting authority.

Manufacturer Coordination

Customers are not expected to approach an engineer with only marketing drawings and no manufacturer support. SolidCabin remains available for kit-related technical questions and reasonable production-side revisions requested by the engineer.
