The phrase "engineering package" can describe very different document sets.
For an imported cabin project, manufacturer information, production documentation, structural engineering and the final permit package should be treated as separate layers.
1. Model and Architectural Reference Documents
Available model information may include:
- Floor plans
- Elevations
- Building sections
- Principal dimensions
- Room, loft and deck layouts
- Window and door locations
These are architectural reference documents for model selection, layout coordination and local professional review. They are not automatically locally approved permit drawings.
2. Production Drawings
Production drawings explain how the factory prepares the selected cabin configuration.
They may include:

- Component dimensions

- Wall and roof elements
- Opening preparation
- Steel connector references
- Component identification
Production documents are prepared according to the confirmed project and manufacturing stage.
3. Assembly Documents and Technical References
Assembly information may include:

- Wall and roof build-up references
- Material identification
- Model-specific installation notes
Assembly documents are also prepared according to the confirmed project and manufacturing stage. They are not a substitute for local contractor planning, temporary works, lifting plans or site-safety procedures.
4. Site-Specific Structural Engineering
The site-specific structural package may require:
- Design criteria and code references
- Wind, snow and seismic calculations
- Load-path review
- Member and connection checks
- Shear and lateral-resistance design
- Uplift and anchoring design
- Foundation reactions
- Professional seals
This work must be completed by appropriately licensed professionals for the project location.
5. Foundation Engineering
Foundation design depends on the property and is normally separate from the standard cabin-kit order.

Where jurisdictional coverage and availability allow, SolidCabin may send the selected model, available manufacturer documents and project location to an independent engineering firm familiar with SolidCabin systems.
The firm confirms its jurisdictional and discipline coverage and prepares a project-specific proposal.
The proposal should identify:
- Included drawings and calculations
- Foundation scope
- Energy or MEP scope
- Professional seals
- Review rounds
- Schedule
- Fee and payment terms
If accepted, the professional-services agreement and payment continue directly between the customer and the engineering firm.
SolidCabin is not the engineering firm's substitute or local professional of record.
8. SolidCabin's Role During Engineering
SolidCabin can provide:

Coverage and availability must be confirmed for the actual project.
